About Me
I'm David, the founder of This Gordito Can.
This brand started with a nickname I've heard most of my life: Gordito. While it was often meant with affection, it also came with assumptions about what I could or couldn't do. Instead of letting those assumptions define me, I chose to prove them wrong.
Over the years, I've completed more than six half marathons and trained for four full marathons. I haven't finished a full marathon yet, but I keep training because I believe progress comes from showing up, learning, and refusing to give up.
That same mindset inspired me to create This Gordito Can.
This isn't just about making shirts. It's about encouraging people who have ever felt underestimated. I want to build apparel that makes people feel confident, comfortable, and proud of who they are. As the brand grows, my goal is to create products that not only look good but also solve real problems and make a positive impact in people's lives.
To me, This Gordito Can means that no matter what others see or expect, your determination, character, and heart will always matter more.
